Together In Peace 2020 – Day 2

On this Peace Day, as we address suffering in the world and try to bring about more peace and harmony, may we understand the Wisdom that there are causes and conditions for all that happens or occurs. It is important to address both causes and conditions when expecting a certain result.

Many times, we focus on the outward conditions like governments, organizations and other entities which might be perpetuating suffering, but let us not forget to recognize and also address the inner causes like arrogance, greed, self-centeredness and ignorance.

Let us not forget to care and nurture our heart-and-minds too. May we all be illuminated and embraced by Universal Compassion! Namo Amida Butsu.
