The Interfaith Alliance of Hawaii co-sponsors Faith Summit on Homelessness (Apr. 28-29)
The Interfaith Alliance of Hawaii is among the co-sponsors of the 2nd Annual Faith Summit on Homelessness, organized by the Institute of Human Services (IHS) and scheduled for April 28-29, 2017.
The summit is divided into two parts. On Friday, faith leaders will come together to discuss the issues and collaborative, faith-based responses and opportunities. Saturday is geared to congregation members and features presentations on topics such as social service systems, housing options, and faith-based outreach.
Besides IHS and The Interfaith Alliance of Hawaii, co-sposors include The Office of the Governor’s Coordinator on Homelessness and First Assembly of God, the church that is hosting the summit.
Registration is $30 per participant per day and check-in begins at 8 a.m.
