Grant Application Process

The Interfaith Alliance Hawai’i (TIAH) awards grants to organizations that want to enhance their spiritual and activist work with communities. We offer matching grants from $250.00 to $500.00 each to support projects consistent with TIAH’s mission and values as a faith-based voice for justice and healing.

TIAH remains open to creative and productive use of the funds for doing “good works” in the community. We encourage proposals that will meet the economic and human impacts COVID19 has had on our community. In your application please indicate how your organization’s project addresses needs such needs as food security, housing, care of our keiki, and other needs related to the health and welfare of our people.

Grants are offered on a revolving basis until the annual budgeted funds are expended. The deadline for applying is thirty (30) days prior to the regular board meetings of TIAH held on the third Friday of January, March, May, August, October, and December.

The funds are awarded to those selected for grants within seven (7) days after notification.

* Deadline: Completed applications received electronically, or postmarked if mailed, after 12 midnight of the due date will not be considered.
